Supporting early childhood education
Our Process
1. Identifying families in need:
We identify families who are unable to afford early childhood education. Empower to Change reaches out to communities, we collaborate with local organisations, and we leverage social networks to connect with families who will benefit from our support.
2. Assessing eligibility:
We carefully assess the eligibility of families based on predefined criteria, including household income, socio-economic background, and the child's age, to ensure that resources are directed at those who need them the most. Empower to Change supports children from 18 months to 6 years old to provide targeted assistance and resources during these crucial early developmental years.
3. Partnering with ECD centres
We establish partnerships with reputable ECD centres that align with our vision and values. We collaborate closely with these centres to ensure that the educational programmes and facilities meet the holistic needs of the children we support.
4. Providing financial support:
Once families are deemed eligible, Empower to Change covers the costs of early childhood education, which can include tuition fees, scholarships, and other costs.
5. Monitoring and evaluation:
Empower to Change maintains a monitoring and evaluation system to track the progress and impact of our initiatives. We assess the educational outcomes, wellbeing, and overall development of the children within our programme. This ensures we constantly measure the effectiveness of our programmes and can make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
6. Community engagement:
Empower to Change actively engages with the community, raising awareness about the importance of early childhood education and advocating for equal access to quality education for all children. We collaborate with local stakeholders, educators, and policymakers to promote policy changes that support our mission and amplify our impact.
